Harvard-Kent Leadership and Scholarship Partnership

The Harvard-Kent Partnership helps make the dream of college a reality for children at Charlestown’s Harvard-Kent elementary school, a remarkable urban public school. Every year we award college incentive scholarships to highly motivated young students. Recipients and their families join a special club that provides educational enrichment and helps them model the qualities of aspirations and achievement for the entire school. When they graduate from Harvard-Kent, they join an older scholars club that helps guide their choices in middle school, high school, and as they look toward college.

Harvest on Vine

The Harvest on Vine Food Pantry is dedicated to helping all needy members of our community regardless of religious affiliation.

Established by the parishioners of the St. Mary- St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Harvest on the Vine is located at the St. Catherine school hall on Vine Street, Charlestown . The Pantry provides once-a-month distribution of food to Charlestown residents.

Food is distributed every two weeks. The distribution is intended to assist families struggling to make ends meet. Each family receives approximately one week’s worth of food. All residents of Charlestown in need are welcome.
